Hello Housekeeping!
April 4th, 6:30 pm
If you’ve ever hesitated about throwing something away….this
workshop is for you! Artist Eliza Plumley will offer a hands-on workshop
demonstrating how to use recycled materials from two hotels where she
works to make beautiful things.
Participants will learn basic crochet techniques as well as
explore and manipulate materials to create 3 D objects.Participants’
work will contribute to an art installation, “Hello Housekeeping”, that
will be on display on the ground floor of 60 Richmond St. E. at the
Local 75 Housing Co-op from April 15 - June 1, 2011.
Opening reception: Friday, May 13th, 7-10 pm.
The workshop is open to members, friends and family of the Local 75 Housing Co-op and Local 75 UNITE free of charge.
